December 10, 1969 - September 16, 2019

Mass of Christian Burial for Richard Sanchez, 49, will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 19, 2019 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church with Reverend Nestor Lara, pastor, as Celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery under the personal care of Parkside Chapel Funeral Home. A Prayer vigil will be held at Parkside Chapel Funeral Home at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 18, 2019. Mr. Sanchez passed away Monday, September 16, 2019.

Richard Sanchez was born December 10, 1969 in Hereford, Texas to Pablo Sanchez and Gabriela (Leon) Sanchez. He attended Hereford Schools and graduated in 1988. He met and fell in love with Martha Jane Granado in Hereford and they married April 20, 1991. He was a Tooling Machinist at Bell Helicopter for seven years. Richard was a member of the Mighty Maroon Band. He never met a stranger, was funny, silly and was loved by ALL and yet reserved & respectful. He loved to cookout and was especially known for his grilled Chicken. Richard loved to work on cars and lawn mowers. Richard would assist anyone that needed help. His hobbies included riding motorcycles, playing drums and was very handy. Richard was the best son, husband, father, father-in-law ever.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife Martha Sanchez of Amarillo, one daughter; Haley Richelle Sanchez and wife Adrienne of Amarillo, one son; Richard Jared Sanchez and wife Mackenzie of Amarillo, his father, Pablo Sanchez of Hereford, three sisters; Beatrice Macias, Isabel Villarreal, Dolores Sanchez all of Hereford, two brothers; Carlos Sanchez of Amarillo, Pablo Sanchez Jr. of Hereford, four legged kids; Oscar, Harley and Audi.

His mother, Gabriela Sanchez, preceded him in death.
