Madeline C Rosson
June 10, 1940 - March 28, 2019

Funeral Services for Madeline Rosson, 78, a long-time resident of Hereford will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church with the Reverend Chris Flickinger, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in West Park Cemetery. Funeral services are being directed personally by Parkside Chapel Funeral Home. Madeline went to be with the Lord, March 28, 2019 in Amarillo.

She was born June 10th, 1940 in Lubbock, Texas. She graduated Sudan High School in 1958, attended Wayland Baptist University. She married Tom Rosson August 25, 1963 in Sudan, Texas. They began married life in Morton, Texas and moved to Hereford in 1969.

Madeline was preceded in death by her parents: W A (Bill) Turner and Emma Turner, brother Gary Don Turner, and granddaughter Meagan Narrell. Madeline is survived by her husband Tom Rosson of Hereford, daughter Daphne Narrell and husband Britt of Andrews, grandchildren Blake Narrell of the USAF, Katie Narrell and Beau Narrell of Andrews, sister Betty Wiseman and husband Buddy of Friona, brother W A (Bill) and wife Kathy of McGregor and many nieces and nephews.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Hereford, Texas since 1969. She had an active role in Gideon Auxiliary and volunteered with the HRMC auxiliary. Her career was spent in banking at the Morton State Bank for six years and the Hereford State Bank for thirty-six years.

She loved her family, church, and her Lord and Savior. She will be remembered for gifts of love and service, giving, positive attitude and providing encouragement for others.
