The life and times of Wayne Henderson, 68, a Hereford resident and business man will be celebrated, at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at First United Methodist Church with the Reverend Kevin S. Bushart, pastor officiating.

Cecil Dwayne Henderson passed away on Friday, January 25, 2019 in Amarillo, Texas at BSA Hospital. Wayne was born October 5, 1950 to Floyd Wayne and Jessie Snow Henderson in Amherst, Texas. He graduated from Springlake-Earth High School in 1969. He enlisted in the United States Navy, shortly after. He then proudly served two tours of duty in the Vietnam War. Upon returning home he obtained a degree in Electronics from South Plains College in Levelland. Wayne married his wife of forty two years, Carmen Robertson, on April 17, 1976 in Dimmitt, Texas. In 1986 they moved to Hereford and together Wayne and Carmen owned and operated W.H. T.V. and Appliance for thirty three years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a devoted husband, Dad, and Papa.

He is survived by the love of his life, Carmen, and two sons Heath Wayne and wife Amanda Henderson of Amarillo and Hagen Brennon Henderson also of Amarillo and was the proudest PaPa to two grandchildren, Violet Snow and Teddy Campbell Henderson. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Floyd Lee Henderson.
