Charles Heath Cave

Funeral Services for Heath Cave, 51, a Hereford resident will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 7, 2018 at First Baptist Church, with Tracy Byrd, of Canyon, officiating. Interment will follow at 3:00 p.m. MT in Evergreen Cemetery in Santa Rosa, New Mexico. Services are under the personal supervision of Parkside Chapel Funeral Home. Mr. Cave passed away Thursday, May 3, 2018 in Amarillo. Family will receive guests at Parkside Chapel Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 6, 2018.
Charles Heath Cave was born March 6, 1967 to Dewey Theodore and Peggy Jo (De Moss) Cave in Santa Rosa, New Mexico. Heath graduated from Groom High School in 1985. He later met and fell in love with Angie Brinson, they were married on July 6, 1996 in Paducah, Texas. They moved to Hereford fourteen years ago from Canyon. He worked for the Texas Department of Transportation as a Supervisor and retired in 2016. He was loved by all at the Texas Department of Transportation where he was very organized and conscientious of employees and their needs. He always made sure projects were completed and done well. His yard was always immaculate and he loved to cook. He loved High School sports of all kinds. Heath was a member of First Baptist Church of Groom.
He is survived by his wife Angie of the home; one daughter, Jaicie Cave of Hereford; one son, Britt Cave of Hereford; his mother, Peggy Jo Cave of Tijeras, New Mexico; three brothers, Harold Cave and wife Virginia of Amarillo, Dewey Cave and wife Connie of Tijeras, New Mexico, and Todd Cave of Albuquerque, New Mexico; one sister, Luanne Rolley and husband Arthur of Clovis, New Mexico; several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father; two brothers, Craig Cave and Joey Cave; one nephew, Ivan Cave.
