Cody Mathew Tugwell, 25, of Amarillo passed away on Wednesday, August 2nd, 2017. He was loved by so many and his absence will forever leave its mark on the hearts of those who loved him dearly. The love of Cody’s life was his beautiful daughter Zoey. He was a loving father and she truly was the jewel in his heart. We are grateful that she knew the love that he had for her and that his spirit will always surround her as she grows.

We will never truly understand why you left us so suddenly and your absence will always remain. We know that you have finally found peace in Heaven alongside Mom & Papaw and Grandmother Millie & Granddaddy Ray and we are comforted in the knowledge that Tron now has his best buddy beside him again.

Cody is survived by his daughter, Zoey Tugwell, his father, Kyle Tugwell and wife, Kristi, his mother, Kay McKinzie Tugwell, his brother, Chad Black and brother-in-law, Bryan, his sister, Rachel Tugwell and nephew, Conner Hurt, his grandfather, Claud Tugwell and his grandmother, Donna Marie Booras and his step-siblings, Zane, Anna and Emma.

Cody, we will always love you.

The family suggests flowers be sent to Trinity Fellowship Church 5000 Hollywood Rd. Amarillo, Texas 79118, West Chapel on Saturday, August 5th by noon.
